Anthony don't worry there are a lot of short troopers heck I might be even shorter than you XD
I hope so! Compared to most Americans, I am very small (165cm).
Do you know if there are any Japanese suppliers for armour? Im liking Anovos, but they dont ship to Japan

はじめまして!!!
Thanks everyone for the warm welcome!
Hello,
You will enjoy this process. It can feal a little daunting at first, but we are all here to help. Just start simple.
I recommend starting with this forum: http://www.whitearmo...ead-this-first/ it will get you going in the right direction.
If you want to see some of the builds people are currently doing then you can check out this forum: http://www.whitearmo...stunt-and-hero/ There are some great step by step build threads in this forum.
Also, everyone on these forums are extremely helpful, just ask.
Good luck
I am currently snooping around this very forum! This is why I am happy i signed up for FISD! I spent a long time looking for this kind of information. When I was younger (8 years ago), I thought about buying armour of ebay. *shiver* Glad to know it is not a safe option. I hope I can find armour that doesn't need a lot of heavy modifying to fit me... Because I am "kind of short to be a stormtrooper"!

Good day/evening everyone!
My name is Anthony and I currently reside in Kobe/Osaka, Japan; originally from Los Angeles and San Francisco, California. I have been an avid Star Wars fan since I was really young and have always dreamed of owning my on set of stormtrooper armour! Now that I am out of college and have steady employment, i am hoping to slowly assemble my own set of armour! I know it is going to take a while, but I am a patience man!!!
I am so happy that FISD exists! It is nice to have a centralized place for newbies to get information! I have already cruised a few of the forum and already saw some really good advice!
I look forward to getting to know everyone!
Anthony
