  1. I remember seeing you (sort of) at the Phillies game! Those FO buckets were great. My wife is from Philly and unfortunately she was in the seats and not out and about with me to see your work.

Good luck with your build. We are from Altoona so if you ever find yourself in the middle, maybe we will Troop together.

Question about rivets and shims. I have been getting mixed info from the boards. Since I am using shims do I need to place 3 more rivets across from my kidney rivets? They would only be for show. If so do I place them on my shim, or do I have to remove from my kidney and place the set between my shim and ab

CRL states these are level 3 requirements. The reason I have them in the kidney was because I was going to use the strapping system but I abandoned it when I realized shims were needed.

  4. Current punch list

thighs are hitting his butt, and overlapping the shins. Trim the backs of the thighs and pull them up maybe 1/4"-1/2" (he has space in the front).

Pull the shins down a little. Shape them to fit over the boot better

    Realign right shin

Make sure shin opening are facing inside

Shoulders could come in a little, and maybe rotate them forward slightly.

Bring the biceps down a little. Make sure that you can see the straps around both biceps.

rip the shoulder bridges off and move them higher on the chest.

pull the belt down in the back, that could keep the butt in line.

Be aware of gap between the kidney and butt.

So I have a bit of a punch list. I maintain have to rework my calves. I am going to ditch the Anovos Velcro system for something else. I might do the bra straps from Ukswrath if that is the most suggested. I have to shape it to the boot as well. That will help lower it

The shoulder straps have since been moved back. They should "close" the shoulders now.

I also want to talk about bending and shaping the ABS better. My posterior armor fans out a bit too much for my liking. How can I get it to bed in more. I don't think straps alone will keep it as form fitting as I would like.

  6. My shoulder bells stick out too far and my biceps hang too low. I am finding that the suggested Velcro placement Anovos provides doesn't seem to work right. Does anyone use a different system or do I just need to keep playing with it until it works?post-29429-147970198934_thumb.jpg

  7. I have a doopydoo and it is great. Just know that all-in-all you'll probably be spending $130ish (which include the shipping from UK) to finish the gun. At that amount of money you'll only be $30 away from a Hyperfirm.

If I had know this I would have gotten a Hyperfirm instead.

Don't get me wrong, I love my Doopy Doos blaster, it's a great blaster for accuracy, but I love my Hyperfirm DLT. The fact that you can let a child or anyone hold it and if they drop it your blaster will be fine. It's up to you, but I recommend the rubber opposed to the resin.

I was having issues with their website. Is that how you order them? It probably just didn't scale to my phone so I'll check tonight. I have a 1 year old so maybe resiliency is the smart way. Thanks for adding a price element. That is great insight

  8. What are some E-11 Blaster options I have? Currently I'm looking into this http://www.doopydoos.com/stormtrooper-e-11-complete-anh-e-11-blaster-kit-offer-2685-p.asp

I don't mind doing the work, I actually enjoy it, but what are the other options? I don't plan on putting Hyperfirm type money down. I understand they are high quality and tough but I'm just looking for good enough to troop.

  9. I'm thinking one of my snaps on my ab armor is the wrong size. they only give you one size snap but the female end just falls off of the one male end. I tried other female ends and I think the male end is just oddly small. Can i fix that? if i have to remove a button that has already been stamped onto the armor, how would you suggest taking it out? Drilling?
