I'll be attending some events with the Capital City Garrison later this month. All I can say is that I am addicted to the forums already and really impressed with the spirit. Starting to gather gear and dreaming of a big brown box...

Hi there,

 

I'm a huge Star Wars fan, and I grew up loving my toy stromtrooper. When I lost him I was devastated. So when I attended my very first Comiccon in Ottawa this year, and ran into the 501st, I knew I had found my people.

 

Looking into armour - still debating which is the best to start from for my body type (5'7', 194 pounds female), but hey, give me a few weeks to explore these forums and I will place my order. (any advice on women building dos and don'ts will be welcome though!)

 

I already received great advice from folks here, and I am attending an armour party with my local garrison this month. I am also hoping to volunteer as a handler on Canada Day. So I am in good hands already. Can't wait to walk on the dark side.
