Thank guys! I have done a lot of reading and video watching already but will prob have a lot of questions as I go along. So far, this forum has been the best resource.

My name is Lorren (I'm a guy btw) and I am here to learn more about stormtrooper armor. I go to a lot of conventions and never dress up primarily because I’m self-conscious about my weight. Last year at NYCC I saw a lot of stormtroopers and decided to stop sitting on the sidelines. Since then I have lost 25+ lbs and my goal is to be ready in time for this year’s NYCC. I still need to drop 10-15 lbs but I can do that as I get and put together armor. I have found you guys to be the best place to learn the ins and outs so, that’s why I’m here.
