It is a poor mans build so I went with some "sourced" parts. The cone tip on the DLT-19 came from a mouthwash bottle.

They are bad about emailing back. I ordered the conversion and it came in. I may also be going with the pipe build route even thou I have the hasbro conversion in hand. I saw that the hasbro conversion will not be considered for centurion. If I am wrong on that someone please let me know.

Our garrison doesn't have formal meetings per se, because we are vastly spread out as far north as Chico and as far south as Bakersfield but we have various events several times a month. I know we had a small build meet this past weekend and more are scheduled in the coming weeks.

I am very much enjoying this site. I am looking forward to starting my build. The different avenues to take to complete my project is mind boggling. I am wanting to build a sand trooper for my first build. Hoping to find some helpful tips in here. I am going to school for recreational therapy and wanting to use my love for everything Star Wars. to help kids. I am retired from the U.S Air Force so I have plenty of time on my hands, besides college and one kid still left at home, and squeezing funds out of the wife. My only concern is doing right. I don't want to be a scrub.
