  1. Hi Gwithian

    Your build is looking great!

For the teeth I used a piece of old window screen. It's light, easy to mold, and usually is already black or grey. Save the strainer for food..haha

But with that said, a few months later I removed the screen bcz I heard the screen used lids were left open. I wanted to get a accurate as I could.

    Keep up the good work!

  2. Thank you for the help and encouragement on my shims. I received my legion number today of TD84414. I'm extremely happy about it and will now be starting on my T-21 build so I can emulate TD tuck and roll. Then fieldpack, maybe a better E-11, some macro binoculars,..etc.. I have a feeling this will be a long and very enjoyable experience.

    Here's a few pics.

And thanks again. The white armor site was invaluable.

  3. Hi my name is Jon and a long time fan, first time builder. My aim is to get centurion status and am wondering about ab button painting. I've read that there are two colour's of blue used out there. Midnight blue - more of a traditional colour, and or French blue - current colour. Is that correct? And can I use the midnight blue for centurion?

Also, I had to add shims to my kidney and if there's any tips on filling in the ridge to make it look seamless would be great. Thank you.

Still needs to be trimmed to length. Will be about a 2" extension.

  4. Hello all interested

I'm Jon and recently received my new Tk boots. I went for a 1/2 size larger rather than 1 1/2. But I do have a wide foot ( hockey skate - EE )and found the boots to be uncomfortably tight.

Picked up a shoe stretcher ( $35 cdn ) and within 24hrs they fit incredibly better. Night and day!... here's some picks, I tried to get some side close ups to show that there is no signs of leather distress. Tkboots = high quality.. in my opinion.

    Steps

    -Removed insoles.

    - 15 spays of leather stretcher.

    - hand tighten to quite snug, plus a little.

    - wait... haha

-repeat if needed.. was told smaller stretches are far better than trying to do it all at once.

Hope it helps or found interesting
