  1. So I have a doopy doos pipe blaster kit which I learned is for 40mm pipe. I accidentally bought a 38.1mm OD PVC pipe. I'm not sure which one to sell. The 40mm pipe at Home Depot is too thick. The 38.1 is too small. Any thoughts?

  2. Love looking at helmet interiors, so much room to get creative and so many different things you can put in there to suit personal needs. :smiley-sw013:

Here's mine, four 12v fans doing ~15CFM, iComm, Aker1506, powered condensor microphone, bluetooth transmitter to chest 10W speakers, 2W hovi speakers, and a switch box to toggle it all. But, beauty is you can't really tell outside the fans that all that is in here hehe (you can check out the thread I put together on it if you're curious: http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/topic/39469-howto-super-clean-helmet-electronicsinterior-build/)

What did you line your helmet with?

  3. Thanks for the kudos Craig. The reason why return edge sizes are not posted are because it's builder specific. What works for me may not work for you, etc, etc. The only clearance I mention is the 1/2" between your body and armor.

I will trim all of my return edges down to 3-5mm. I've already tapered the return edge on bicep top, and shoulders. Other than wrist and bottom of shins other other areas where you guys removed all of the return edge? (I'm debating on all arm and leg parts).

  4. Ukswrath I am almost done following along with you guide for my TK. It is beyond useful. However one thing I keep having problems with is return edge size. I know they are not required, but I want to keep them where comfortable.

It would be extremely useful if sometime you could add a separate section (or maybe in fitment alterations) for all of your return edge sizes in mm. I am a similar size as you and it would save me, and probably others much guess work. I am having a hard time telling in the pics.

  5.

i think that helped tons. Looks much better.

Overall i think maybe hey overdid that little bit of wonkyness there... but its not THAT big a deal, especially after seeing what a little trim and touch up paint work can do. I think its fine  :)

I'm in the same boat. So with that paint job, would it stand a better chance of centurion approval? I'm thinking of doing the same to mine, but if I need to use some bondo and paint I can make those teeth stick out a little more if needed.

  6. Hello fellow star wars fans! I am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Anovos kit (arrives this Saturday). I have always wanted to be a stormtrooper since I was a kid and now I finally get the chance. I am a career Fire Captain and Medic at a metro Atlanta area fire department. I have heard local garrisons do charities at the Children's hospitals and I think that would be a great cause to participate in. My goals are networking and attending those kinds of Charity events. I will be starting this hobby as an ESB stormtrooper and building a pipe E-11 with a doopy doos kit with the hope of joining 501st. Another future hope is to get a first order flametrooper armor set. Look forward to being part of the group.
