Way to go Danny! I wish they would update the HWT CRL and get rid of that Godawful pack shown in the main photo, as it is so misleading! Please tell me that you are going with the traditional approved pack as shown in the lower photos of the CRL. There are a few rogues that have invented their own versions, which, while cool, are not 501st approved. (I guess I am sort of a stickler for tradition and continuity). I think it would be great if more HWTs applied for EIB and Centurion status.. (there really should be more than 3 of us).
I'm working on it Joseph...lol I would love to get centurion status. I do have to get my armor first though. Do you have any sources for packs? I've been in contact with Dirty Boy but I don't know yet if he does HWT packs. I finally found a comparison pic of the TD pack and HWT pack and now notice there are alot of differences.

Can you get 501st approval with that pack? I'm interested in getting one made,but it needs to meet 501st guidelines so I can join. Looks awesome! Also if anyone has a link to dirtyboy can you please share it? I can't find one. Seems they have toughened up the requirements on the packs and need to be like the battlefront ones.<br>
any help would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome from the Orangeville area. I would also worry about the exchange rate when ordering from the states. Our $$ is really bad right now. As for armor rt-mod has been recommended for bigger people. As a big guy myself, I have been added to his waiting list and will have mine near the end of the year.

Hey Angie, can you put up a pic of your blaster the right way? I'd like to compare the difference, I don't see what is wrong in the first pic's. I'm a big noob though and don't know what to look for yet.

I'm on a long wait list for my armor so I guess it's good and bad. I'll have plenty of time to get my other things. I still have to measure my feet for tk-boots, body suit, neck seal, pauldron, backpack,and anything else I might be forgetting.

will these totes fit any size armor? I'm a pretty big guy and I don't want to waste my money and time decorating it only to find out its to small. Also I'm going for the HWT, and will have the back back and eventually DLT -19.

Welcome from another Calgarian! Make sure to check out our local Badlands Garrison message boards, too. There's a number of fellow troopers in town who do the 3D printing, too.
so does that mean you guys can make the weapons with the 3d printing?

I'm new here as well. I live in Shelburne. ( 20 min north of Orangeville ) I as well have begun my quest for obtaining armor and gaining approval into the 501st. I'm still trying to go threw the never ending forums. Lots of great stuff on here. I have been in contact with Rob from RT-MOD for my armor and hopefully have it by the end of the year. Maybe I'll join the hidden FB if I can find it...lol <br>
I'm sure I will have lots of questions for you all in the future. I'm hoping to make a whack of new friends as I'm originally from Calgary and a shy guy. I'm also the test dummy for my wife and girls, they are thinking of getting involved as well but are waiting for me to work out all the kinks and learn it all. I'm attempting to be a HWT, perhaps biting off more than I can chew for a beginner/noob but oh well it will be fun. <br>
Looking forward to meeting and trooping with some of you.<br><br>
Ps if anyone knows of a Canadian place to get a backpack and DLT-19 please let me know. I have found 1 company that will make the DLT-19 but its in the states and after shipping and the horrendous exchange rate it would be around $700. Looking for something a bit $$ friendly..lol

If Fyves doesn't want it, I'll take it! Does it look like the one in the pic Joseph posted above? I'm currently on the waiting list with RT-Mod for my suit and am now starting to collect the other things I need. Also thanks for your help Joseph on my helm questions, it was a big help.

I am currently trying to get my trooper suit so i can join the 501st. I have been in contact with RT-MOD, for some prices etc. I was thinking of going with a heavy weapons trooper suit but I want the anh hero helm. I don't think the anh hero helm with a heavy weapons suit would be accepted to join the 501st would it? <br>
Also, are there any particular/extra things I need to ask for specifically from RT-MOD in my suit? I don't want to pay all the money for a suit and have it missing something or be incorrect and not be acceptable to join the 501st. Any help would be greatly appreciated.<br><br>

I'm guessing the led lights would not be accepted anymore for 501st approval.
