    I got on Jim's list too and will be June/July time frame.  Can't wait to get this in!!!

     

    I have to say that I love the ability to get this from a person that is doing runs vs. a corporation.  Plus Jim is getting work to a team of fiberglass guys there local that need the work.  So not only are you getting a fan made cast from a great guy, you are helping a group that needs the work.

  19. Lights &/or Sounds for TFA Pistol & F11

    I am in the process of getting the pistol and F11 printed. Looking to add lights and sound to both. Does anyone have details on how they did theirs? How are the lights supposed to work as in are they always lit up or do they light up with the pull of the trigger? Or do they stay on all the time and the trigger pull makes them flash? Any insight on how to do this and where to get the parts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

    Hey.  I am Matt (not a radar technician) :D from the Carolina Garrison.  I have a TK and a Captain Rex and working on a TFA TK officer.  I have been around for a long time but never introduced myself formally.  I have been voyeuring around recently getting all the needed parts from the different people selling.  I am excited and just waiting Anovos to send over the link (on the waiting list) and NDA so I can get their set.

     

    I am so happy for the new movie and have seen it 3 times.  I am the most excited about the way this has brought a new era of Star Wars now that i have been able to share with my daughters.  I was happy that they did Rey as such a strong character.  My daughters are now changing their room over to Star Wars designs.  We founds some great art work out there that goes well with making a girls room too!

  23. Anyone tried a monitor in the helmet?

    Now that is a really good idea.  I always have a little kid below me looking to give a hug or high five but cant see them.  The Cpt Rex I have helps but not the TK.  I would be interested if someone had any ideas.  What about using a Raspberry Pi system with small LCD in it?  I would love to know what we could do now a days with Pi or the new Pine computers coming out that are small and could run all kinds of things through one device.
