That is brilliant. Thank you so much. I never even thought about doing third strap on the back. I have already shortened the two I will now add a third and hopefully reduce back gap more. Ab buttons will be nice quick job thanks to the delightful removable e6000.
Thanks again will be submitting Centurian soon.

Glove issue.
I had just picked up Mini Vader so also left bicep issue( now fixed)

Yeah. I just wasn’t sure if there was any other option. To be honest I kitted up in -2c temp whilst snowing and 20mph wind in Birmingham at the weekend. My fingers weren’t working well at all. I’m surprised I got it all on at all !! I will try again with them under the suit. I think that’s best. Just wondered if any other ideas that might work.
Thank you

How long are your gloves matey?
They are fairly long, like a large washing up glove.

I had a go in kit out and about this weekend. The back felt so much better. Have reinforced the elastic between back and kidney.
I did have some issues with my gloves coming out of forearms a bit so was wondering on some ideas there. Either tucking gloves into undrsuit for extra security or possibly Velcro on inside of forearm and outside of glove?

Ok I’ve made a few adjustments. Went with the Velcro on neck seal and under the back plate. Worked well.
Updated front
Rear
Lid off
Hopefully improved. Thanks all for advice.

Gloves are rubber or definitely rubber-like.
If I can shorten the strapping between back and kidney and extend strapping between forearm and bicep, that will help hopefully.
Tonight’s job, and hopefully better pics. Will also fiddle with the neck seal.
Any tips on how to make it stay down flush inside back?

Great work, Daniel. Looking really good. :-)
Just a little thought. There appears to be something poking out at the front edge of your forearms. You could consider bringing the forearms down by about an inch to reduce that gap.
Not sure if the back gap will be raised. CRL states “Back plate shall have no, or minimal overlap of the kidney plate.”, but doesn’t actually specify how big the gap can be. I’m sure the DOs will confirm.
Best of luck with your application.

Thank you. I did spot the orange from my glove poking out. By this point my wife had deserted me and I was doing pics myself. Is t worth tucking the gloves inside my under suit sleeve to make sure that doesn’t show?
In my first garrison admission pics I was told the gap at my elbows was a bit much so I’m finding it hard to work out exactly where’s best to have the spacing. I’m hoping any problems are more due to my dressing than the kit.
Fingers crossed.
Thank you.

Thanks all. Can’t wait to do first troop and hope I don’t mess up.

Just got my TK confirmation and booked for my first troop on April 2nd. Hopefully that gives me some time to properly tidy up the suit and make adjustments to get me EIB and hopefully Centurian ready. Kidney plate shims first off to do
Can’t wait to wear it out and trooping even if I don’t get Centurian ( that’s mostly for my satisfaction tbh)

The truck bed liner is not a rubbery finish like plasti-dip. There’s a few threads on here about this as I researched a fair bit when o did mine. Don’t recall anyone using flex seal though. Plastidip and truck bed liner seemed favourites. I went with what was easier to get hold of in UK.

I have not tried but I used truck boot liner from Halfords (UK) worked great.

I use nylon webbing and no clamps, no magnets. They conform to any angle or bend and the nylon absorbs the glue creating an even tighter bond.
So do you glue the snaps to nylon webbing first then attach that to ABS? Sorry, I haven’t started my build yet and now panicking as I have snaps on order and some e6000!!!

Did you have to do any disassembly or just spray straight into the bucket? Looks great by the way.
Didn’t disassemble just took ears off and stuff all holes with foam and used a fair bit of masking tape all round. Where some spray did spread just used a bit of turps substitute on a cotton bud to remove.
Smell does hang around for a while but I managed to glue eyes in after no problem. I like the finish and it didn’t take long to do at all.
