[Anovos centurion build]

I have had to further cut and or sand both sides to get the 7.5 mm. 

 

That is something i will be doing on all future parts. Sanding the area to be glued.

 

Any tips for removing the glue that squeezes out? I have just rubbed vigorously on other areas with glue on them. Where the butt is, I am finding it difficult to remove it as my finger cant get into the corner. I refuse to go anywhere near it with a knife as i quickly discovered how little scoring was needed to get a clean snap.

 

Yes i do allow pieces to set for 24 hours at minimum.

Hey everyone. Names Gary, Screen name Garybaldy (B5 reference, i'm bald).

 

I am on my way to my build. Have nearly everything trimmed out. 

 

So far i have one forearm kind of complete and one half done. The one i thought was almost complete just needed some of the excess e6000 removed from the joint that squeezed out. Was put off when i tried to rub it away and the seem started coming apart.

 

Any tips on solving that as well as a source for a material to add a backing to be seems?

You can cut ALL the wrist end return edge off. In fact, for Centurion, it's required

I was not expecting my armor for at least 5 months after i ordered it. I knew that going in that the price comes with a long delay.

Have already discovered i need to read as i go. Thought i would start cutting everything out first. Cut out about a third of the kit when i started doing some extensive reading. Discovered my first problem when i taped the left forearm pieces together and did a test fit. Having a hard time getting my hand through. Thinking i will have to cut back on the return edge.

Been wanting to get a TK for years. Bit the bullet a day after Dragoncon this year. Bought an Anovos kit without the soft goods. Was not expecting my kit till March or April of next year. Expected to have plenty of time to do research and purchasing of needed items. Then surprisingly, i received my kit in only about forty days. 

 

So i have been on a purchasing spree this past week and and doing a lot of reading here and at the ga501st site

For a while now i have wanted to get a set of Armour. Being the indecisive individual i am. Could never make up my mind. At least until i had the opportunity to see the new Armour at Dragoncon a couple weeks ago. That cinched it.
