I see that this is an old topic - but I too have been wondering what the long term implications might be for 3d printing.
While not an E-11, there are plans out there for other SW blasters that come out fairly well:
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:226014
Based on those, I've presumed that an E-11 could be broken down into component parts, printed and built.
Prices are constantly dropping as 3d printers become more "mainstream"ABS filiment prices are only ~$25/KGand printers with a 10" platten can be found in the $700 rangeI've even wondered long term if it will have implications on armor making.....I can see a time where models of armor parts are able to be shared online.
Once that happens - I wonder what the impact will be to "family trees" for the lineage of parts....

Payment sent for Nicky and Jeff.
I saw that you went back to a waiting list...
I had posted a "final call" on our garrison boards before I realized that.
If you have enough to cover them:
Dean Amsler - SL 9658 (Qty 2)
Darren Blum - TK 8399 (Qty 2)
These could be shipped together with the others - but I understand if you've run out already :-)
Thanks

Just caught the update on RPF - and learned that there was a thread over here too.
I think that GundamZeppelin was organizing counts for a couple of members of my garrison,
so I'm not sure if these are a duplication or not:
Looking for
2 for JEFFREY BUHOLTZ ID7075
4 for Nicky Blum DZ8397

I can confirm that the email went out.
Not sure that I have anything to add, but hopefully some recipients of the email will :-)

Gotcha covered Darren!
Thanks!
I need to find more time to post, as opposed to just read/lurk from time to time.
My post count is dreadful ;-)

It looks like this is where I post to switch from "501st Member" to "Stormtrooper"...

Interesting to see how things have evolved over the years....
