1. Have managed to sort shoulder straps tonight and also found a way of preventing the shins riding up on top of the boots, so all in all I think I'm about set.
2. Not updated my thread for a few days, but have been busy getting on with things. Here is where I am now. I have a few tweak's to make, but generally speaking I'm very pleased. -----------
3. Ahhhh! I was expecting the counter to reset when changing weapons! In which case it's hopefully working correctly. My mp3 player has still not arrived (everything else has been here for several days) so I really can't progress much, although I will try to get the PWM LED's working maybe tomorrow.
4. Got my counter working for shoot and reload, but not sure if change weapon is working.

https://youtu.be/m6mId60it1Q
5. So on my picture, there are two solder points for PWM. I guess I can find out by trial and error, but do you happen to know which one I need to use? Sorry, I'm fairly new to this. I did however get my hengstler counter working tonight!
6. True, I bought 5 drivers, so I guess if I break one it wouldn't matter anyway
7. Question - the LED drivers I have bought have PWM marked on them. Will this work with the code/arduino or have I purchased the wrong thing? I wired one LED up with a driver straight to a 8.4v lipo, and it worked at max brightness, so I know the drivers are ok if you don't put anything into the pwm inputs.
8. Yey, the forum is back, I have all but one of my components here, can't wait to start my build. Only thing missing is mp3 card, so I'll hopefully be able to crack on with the led's etc.
9. Thanks for that feedback. I did some research and yes there are some white soles for sure in RotJ, will have a look at the stitching thing later on.

Got some more done on my lid yesterday, lenses and ear details to go. I've fitted a hard hat liner which I may need to adjust, but generally speaking, for my first ever build I'm pretty happy with how it's turned out.
10. Been working on my helmet over the weekend. Had a bit of a time cutting the ears out of the moulding sheet, but I guess anyone who's done that knows exactly what I mean. S shape neck seal now fitted, over all I'm pretty pleased and have taken my time over it. Bubble lenses, internal strapping, decals and paint to go.
11. Boots came back from being dyed/painted today, I'm thrilled with them, they look great:
12. Tonights update...had a visit from a long established (some might say leader) local trooper, who brought along his armour as a reference for how some pieces fit together, and also a novel answer to suiting up, which means he can suit up solo in a couple of minutes Anyway, lots of chat, quite a few photos and notes taken, and I can progress with my build Edit: Been working on the shins a little tonight...no glue holding this (the right leg) together, just a decent match/fit.
13. Looks great, nicely trimmed too. Good to see a clean and spacious workshop too. Mine is a cramped tip!
14. Is your photo bucket album marked as private?
15. ----------------- maybe it's because that image/album is marked as private when you follow the link mate?
16. Why The Heck Did Each Word CAPitaluse? Is It Because I'm Posting On Mobile Using Fast Reply.
17. Re The Eyes, Yeah I Thought As Much. Just Didn't Want To Get Carried Away With The Dremel And End Up Regretting It. I'm Trying To Figure Out Calf Pieces In The Shed As I Type This LOL. Are Inner Left And Outter Right Identical?
18. Hi folks, well, I'm a complete newb at this, so hold on tight, strap yourselves in and here we go! (admins, if this is in the wrong place or I've said stuff I shouldn't please set me on the right course). Got my big brown box delivered from CfO Monday, wow, there's so many more parts than I realised to a whole suit/bucket! Also ordered (and have mostly received) jodhpur boots (to be dyed), neckseal from jedi-robe, undersuit direct from manufacturer, black rubber gloves, aker talkie box and have a hasbro here with a doopydoos and arduino sound kit on the way. I have been asking Mark loads of questions via email and he always responds super quick, great service like that, thanks Mark. I'm sure there's been loads of CfO posts/photos, but as it's my first time, here goes some of mine. You'll see I've started trimming (I'm using a router bit on a dremel...works a bit like a knife through butter...not too much pressure and just keep a nice steady pace) and have fitted some edge liner to the abdomen part to see how I got on with it (think it's not too bad). Anyway, on to the photos:
19. Got it, files sorted, thanks for the fast reply!
20. Hi there, I've just ordered all the parts (mostly from china, hengstler from Germany) to build my sound system for my hasbro/doopydoos conversion. Any chance you could pm me the sound files package please?
