Welcome, Andrew, and glad to have aboard! I am not sure about this, but unfortunately I don't think you are able to post in the Commissary section until you have your official TK number, (although I may be mistaken). As far as building it goes, I highly recommend doing it yourself. To be quite honest, it's not as hard as you would think... It does take some time, patience, and LOTS of research, but you have huge number of build threads and a whole legion of people here to help you out if you have questions. Your local Garrison (Squad 7) can also be an invaluable source of help. Have you had the chance to check out the "The Various Types of Armor, and Where to buy them" thread in the Getting Started..." section? Also, you didn't mention whether you were stationed/lived on a ship, (been there, done that), in the enlisted barracks, or live off-base, because you will need room for your build, (and storage, of course).

Another good thing about building it yourself is that it will be custom tailored to your body, and, when you have to mend it, (and you will), you will have a much better working knowledge of how to do it. Not to mention the satisfaction of having a kit you did yourself! All the best on your TK journey, and thanks for your service!

I have looked at that thread. I'm a sub guy stationed in kingsland. Im on shore duty and have my own house so building location isn't what I'm worried about. Like I said before don't know about the sculpting thing though. I would like to keep cost down as much as I can an buying all the materials/ tools to build from scratch seems pretty pricey because I don't have anything. I get where your coming from though about it being build just for me.

Hey everybody my name is Andrew. I have lived for Star Wars since before I can remember. I'm in the navy and finally have the time and money to build some armor in the hopes to troop and support some really good causes. I really want to build a TFA, but I know anovos is only distributing to legion members and i don't ink I have the skill level/ patience to start from scratch. So as a backup I've decided to work on a stunt anh or shadowtrooper. I have done some research and even found some for sale in the commissary, but the forum won't let me post a reply. Am I missing something? I don't use forums often so I might be really showing my intelligence. Thanks for any help in advance and I am super glad to be here!!
