So for the last 15-20 years I have been wanting to build or buy a kit. In a past career I was a Plastic Injection Moldmaker and had all the tools and machines at my disposal to do such a thing but no money or time... Fast forward a decade or so and I now own and operate my own Photography business and have a little more money and time. So last night my daughter and I finished her first viewing of all the Star Wars movies she said to me "Dad you should build a Stormtrooper costume... the fever started again. I then stumbled across the Anovos pre-sale (missed the initial sale) but for $450 for a kit and complete helmet I could not resist. I know it will take lots of tweaking but I am thinking that this winter (slow time for photographers) will allow me to build the armor to 501st specs. I am hoping to join some build parties once the armor arrives. I'll be on the lookout for any West Michigan members.
