  1. Thanks for the replies,

I've heard of caboots and went on their website and checked it out, but it said that the production of the boots can take a couple of weeks, but I'm not sure if it was referring to the stormtrooper boots or just the other ones.

Could anyone tell me how long it took to get their boots? I would need it to arrive in about 2, max 3 weeks.

    Thanks!

  2. Yeah, so the site is www.starfortressproductions.com

Apparently they have a huge library of costumes and blaster props that they make from scratch. I was thinking about ordering some blaster props from these guys. Has anyone ever ordered from them? Do they make good props?

I would not buy anything from him.. Heard a lot of bad things about him, like he reaped someone and moved out of the u.s. to not get charged (If I'm correct)

As for the quality of his products, I'm not sure, but I would still stay away from him even if his stuff were good, can't trust a crook like him.

  3. I just bought a kit from him a couple days ago. Sent him an email asking how long it will take to get here, and he says it will take about 2 weeks to get the armor then the shipping will take about 10 days. (which I don't really mind that long wait, I still want to get the rest of the materials and I want to get the right ones so I wont have to go running around buying all the small things) This is my first set of armor that I have bought (as in stormtrooper armor in general), and got it for a pretty good price, $300.00.

I'll keep keep you guys updated on how long it will actually take to get here (hopefully what he said was the truth) and I'll take pics of what the kit looks like.

  4. Hello all!

My name is Will, and... I want to be a stormtrooper! :P hehe

Totally new to all this and seems very exciting!

I already ordered a stormtrooper FX kit.. yes, I heard it not the best, especially the helmet, but it will due for now!

Only 16 years old and collected enough money to buy a set, so that's more than perfect for me now, and either way, I'm not looking to join the 501st... yet! Since you need to be 18 to join hehe. So during the next 2 years I'll be working on the armor, making improvements on it etc., so hopefully I'll be good to join the 501st when I turn 18. Hoping to get seriously into this hobby and hope to have lots of fun in the future!

My height is 6' and I weigh 160 lbs, so I should be alright in a suit.

Hoping to get the costume roughly finished by Halloween so I can use it hee hee :trooper:
