I've been lurking for the past few months and figured I'd go ahead and finally register.
I found out about the 501st sometime in May, attended the panel discussion at this year's Comic Con and think this is just about the coolest thing ever. I'm a totally healthy adult and would be thrilled if a stormtrooper visited me should I ever be in the hospital, so I can only imagine what it must do for a child.
Finances are a bit low at the moment, and life is a bit nuts, so right now I'm just in the research research research stage of getting armor.
I can't believe how much info is on this site, it's CRAZY!
Looking forward to learning a lot more from all you fine folks!

(Sorry, if this was posted, I searched and didn't find it, haven't been here for awhile, stupid job)
Just saw the RSS feed on my computer yesterday the 2 Disc (no less) DVD is finally available!!!!
I know lots of folks here are interested, and the news may have bypassed them.
SUPER EXCITED!
The movies main website has a link in the store section, and it's not a bad price.
*happy dance*
Not to mention, right before I found this out my boyfriend was telling me about the bizarre dream he'd just awoken from in which we were at some huge meeting hall getting ready to go through training to be actual Stormtroopers.
