    Hi Jazz,

    Welcome! I'm a newbie around here as well. I joined up with my local garrison on Facebook -- the community there is super friendly and willing to help.

    If money isn't an issue and you want it to be built for you -- you can either talk to someone who builds and sells armor from this forum (as mentioned above) or you can check out the armor from ANOVOS. You can pre-order a completed suit based on your height / body type. Hope that helps :)

    Do you know anyone who builds and sells? Also is your local garrison going to help you build yours? I am from san antonio and unsure on how to contact my garrison.

    Welcome to the FISD.

     

    Stormtrooper costumes of the type you will find here are built from kits that - through trimming, shimming, and strapping - are fitted to your body and its unique measurements. What you ask can be done and there are vendors here that will do so, but understand you will be paying not only for their kit, but for their time and skilled labor as well. As a college student that service may exceed your price range, and by not assembling it yourself you won't learn the needed skills to maintain and repair your very expensive costume.

    I understand! Thank you for your input. So what do you suggest I do? I really want one and want to be in the 501st. I graduate coll rhe soon so hopefully i have more time. And money is not really a problem.

    Hello Everyone!

     

    I am new to this forum and I have been wanting to join the 501st since forever! I had wanted to know if anyone knew anybody who could make me a suit to my measurements. My grandfather was supposed to help me but he passed away. Now I am in college and working and simply have no time to even try to attempt to make one. My grandfather had all the skills with that, I don't.

     

    I am very short at 5ft and my weight is about 120lbs so I am very small. Not likely for a Stormtrooper but it's my dream. I love Star Wars. I would really appreciate any feed back that could direct me in the right direction.
