  1. Just a heads up my brother-in-law bought this kit during tier 2 pricing and received shipping confirmation today. I ordered mine during tier 1 and mine still hasn't shipped. I have an email out to Anovos customer service to see why this is happening. Looks like they aren't very organized as far as shipping in the order in which they kits were purchased.

  2. HI Brian,

I am also in the Imperial Sands Garrison area. Carlsbad to be exact.

I am just getting started as well, and looking to get an armor kit from Trooperbay in the next couple of weeks. Not sure were you are located, but perhaps we could be of some assistance to each other as we both embark on our first armor build.

  3. Hi Everyone,

Sorry if this is common knowledge, but I've tried to search and haven't been able to find a definitive answer. As you can imagine I am a newbie and just starting the whole building of armor research and process.

Long story short, I'm going to be building an MTK kit and will obviously want to wear it to my work Halloween costume contest. Will I be able to sit at my desk and work while wearing the armor, or is sitting not a possibility? I have this vision of everyone walking by my cubicle to see a Stormtrooper cranking away on his excel spreadsheets which would be beyond awesome. I just don't know how feasible that would be.

    Thanks - Mike

  4. Hi Everyone,

My name is Mike and I'm from San Diego (Carlsbad to be exact) I have been researching on the whitearmor forums for quite some time in anticipation of constructing my very own Stormtrooper armor. I'm 33 and have been a huge Star Wars fan since the time I can remember. Between the information on here, and the local members of the Imperial Sands Garrison I have learned so much great stuff that I had no idea about when it comes to trooping and building armor. The willingness to help answer questions and overall enthusiasm to help new prospective members build their armor and join the ranks of the 501st is awesome! Having local members to reach out to has also been awesome as they helped point me into the direction of local supplies, and I was even invited to an armor party as well. (unfortunately I wasn't able to attend)

I am going to be purchasing a MTK kit, and am just waiting for the perfect opportunity to let me wife know why I have made a sudden withdrawal from our account, haha. (next 2 weeks after I return from a business trip)

I thank you all in anticipation of the advise I will need once I start trimming and forming my armor, and I look forward to hopefully joining the ranks of the 501st in the somewhat near future.

    - Mike
