Greetings to a downhome boy Jason! We may live waaaaay out here on the left coast now, but my wife and I are fellow Southerners. She's one of your "contrymen" having been raised in good old Liberty, MS. I was born and raised just across the border in Louisiana. Welcome aboard!

I'm about to go spend the evening with about 1500 violent convicted felons...and hope I walk out at midnight.

Congrats Nathan!

I have the RD suit and trooped it in Burbank yesterday. I like it.

I work for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Being a shift Lieutenant, I have to wear the dress uniform.

That's a very nice looking setup you've got!

Where you get the rubber spray or liner spray
Wal-Mart automotive section. It was labeled "rubberized undercoating."

Very nice Jeremy!!! that must of made the helmet very sturdy!! did u apply to each piece separatly and then build the lid or did u apply it to a finished helmet, i looks like u did it on piece at a time.
The helmet was built when I got it. However, I took it all apart, tweaked it to my liking, sprayed it, and assembled it the way I wanted. So yeah, I did it one piece at a time. It would be easier with a new bucket b/c you wouldn't have as many masking issues as I did since it wouldn't be cut out or dremeled yet.
Thanks for the compliment by the way. It did a little heft to the bucket as well.

I did it b/c I like it that way. I think it looks cool and I'm 6'2 so it's easy for people to see under. I used a rubberized truck bed liner for mine.

Looking good bro!

Yeah, it was the red hair that had me.
Your displaced and homesick delegate from Dixie concurs.

I'm with Darth Brodie. Post LOTS of pics!

Looks like lots of fun ahead for you. What type armor is that?

Hello and welcome!

That's where that thing went! I drooled over that and wanted it so bad but the funds just aren't there at the moment (baby on the way). I would love to do a mannequin up with one of those HG suits to match my HG signature helmet. No way I could fit into it b/c I'm a big'un. Keep us posted with pics!

That thing gets better looking every time I see it. Great job AJCG!

Awesome lid Nathan. I have CAP sig lid #3 proudly on display in my living room (much to my wife's chagrin).

Will do; thanks Jeremy. The only reason I ask is that shipping is like $7! Oy vey. Well, you gotta do what you gotta do.
Just order up some extra to have on hand for any of your buddies. Also, shipping may be $7 but I'm willing to bet you'll have it within 2 days. I did. It came from Texas to CA in 2 days time. Not too shabby.

I wonder if you could find these gaskets locally at Home Depot, ACE, or even WalMart?
Nope. I've searched stores from the deep South to the West coast. The Webers pump stuff is only $2 a foot IIRC. I have a little extra for any future projects.

I have Renaissance dancewear undersuit and I love it. My only gripe is with the crotch zipper. It's at the very bottom of the crotch area and only really opens up for the backside. Other than that, it is great.

Where in AR? We just moved from Wynne/Forrest City 2 years ago.

I am from there and lived the first 30 years of my life in Louisiana. I am a lifelong Saints fan. I have never been happier with my team than now. I can't wait!
