Have you had any more successes with this setup?  It's a brilliant idea, and it seems like the thing for those of use without the time and/or budget to make the snazzier setups into a thing.  $40 & shipping isn't a bad deal for an out-of-the-box solution.

Wow Dark CMF, that might be a bit taller than me!  I'm 6'3" and two-hundred-and-too-many pounds (Yay starting gym and diet and getting back into shape next month!).  I'm looking between RT-Mod and RS Prop Masters because I do have a bigger frame.  I'm new to large scale hobby (i.e. not miniatures or home improvement) so I don't want to get too far over my head for my first run at it, but I do want to tweak out the helmet with mics and speakers and whatnot to get that more 'authentic' experience.  That's really the long and the short of it for now - I'm looking for a standard rank-and-file TK look with the odd cool accessory to keep it interesting if you really scrutinize it.

Greetings and salutations, WhiteArmor!

 

I've been lurking for awhile, but now I've finally made the decision to enlist and join my brothers in less-than-accurate-arms!  I aspire to join the 501st on my birthday (because why not?), so that means I need to get my gear in gear!  I've got a pretty good idea of the setup I want to get (TK with a DLT for starters), but since I'm a bit tall for a Stormtrooper, I'll need to be looking extra hard for that all-important armor (and helmet I can mod out!).

 

I should have some free space and time in starting next month, so I should be able to put in the effort, despite the bitter Hoth southeast Michigan cold that's sure to visit us again this year.
