Does anyone else feel like they're kind of forcing our hands here? I mean, the price and the expected roll out date are prohibitive to us being able to troop the new armor for the premier. The only way for us to accomplish this seems to be us making our own. Surely the ANOVOS guys haven't lost touch to such a degree with our wants and our abilities as a community...

They claim I'll be seeing my Vader helmet in June. If that thing isn't top notch, I'll be quickly cancelling my pre-order for this TK kit.

I am also a newbie and I ordered an AP kit. First off, it's beautiful stuff. Second, the legion members that run the build shop in my area refused to let me do anything other than a Centurion build right out of the gate!

I'm pretty sure they are going to wait to show us anything until there's not enough time to get a run going before the release. Then ANOVOS will release their set of armor just in the nick of time for $2500.

That's kind of where I'm coming from with this post. Everyone that is telling me to go with ATA is using price as the reason. Conversely, everyone that is telling me to go with AP is using turn time as the reason. Nobody seems to have any input as to the difference in quality between the two kits.

I'm commenting so i can follow this thread. I am also considering getting an extra suit and styling it after a sports uniform (Tennessee Titans or Nashville Predators).

Say time and money aren't an issue. Let's say you walk into a room and there is one of each fully trimmed and assembled to your exact size and you are allowed to walk out in ONE of them that very moment for free. Which suit do you take?

On that note, it seems like AP's helmet won't meet EIB or Centurion standards. How noticeable would the color difference be if I dropped an ATA lid on top of AP armor?
Also, is fully trimmed a waste of money since you'll likely have to retrim it to size anyway?

Yeah, I think I am going to try to gather everything up other than the strap system before my kit shows up. I've read that it is important to try a few strap setups before committing to one. Any advice on that end?
