Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm leaning towards AP armor. I can get it trimmed for an additional cost, but I'm not sure it's worth it or not. I'm just worried that in trimming it myself, I'll mess something up...I'm 100% noobie

Hey all. My name's Kyle and I've been wanting to get suited up and be a part of this for a long time.  I've seen a lot of helpful tips and info in the forums from tons of people with different opinions. I've also got a lot of great info from Redforce on here. I found a handful of buying options for armor somewhere in the forums and so far I'm leaning towards AP and ATA. I'm not really 100% sure of the pros and cons of between the two other than that it seems AP is more expensive than ATA, but ATA has a long wait list. Any other info would be awesome! If it helps, I'm 5'10 and around 145-150lbs. I also wear glasses and hope they can fit under the helmet. Thanks all! I look forward to getting started.
