  1. Nice build DBoz.  I noticed the wonky ab plate and gig line as well.  As you are facing the plate, the right side has a tall stand-off between the ab section and the groin section, is this all fairly normal?  and if you look at the entire plate from the top down aspect, it looks like the entire plate is sloping down to the right, again kind of weird.

  2. I just came back from a three day trip.  Get a multi day pass with Park Hopper, that way you can bounce between the parks and get to rides when the lines die down a bit (like less that 45 minute waits).  Also, take advantage of the Magic Mornings (going in an hour early before the regular crowd).  Head straight to Hyperspace Mountain, or the line will be at a 60 minute wait in seconds.  The Radiator Racer ride was always between 60-120 minutes, head straight there one morning.  Use the Fast Passes to your advantage, we got in at 0900 and ended up getting a pass for Hyperspace for 1830!  There are a couple of "discount" ticket places just across the street from the park, but park tickets are never really discounted much more than $2-$5 buck.  Costco may be the best bet.

Bring drinks and food into the park, expect long lines for everything, but over all enjoy the trip.

  3. Hello all, just joining the party in the So Cal, San Diego area.  Have been a huge fan of the 501st for years and now looking to get into trooping.  Can't make up my mind between a Concept Trooper, Tie Pilot or something else, but leaning towards the Concept Trooper since they are new on the scene and very cool.  Hope to see some folks at SD Comic Con, I will there from open to close every day.

    thanks, Edd
