Woohoo! Thanks Tony!
Welcome back Riley. Thank you for your Centurion application, let's do this.
CRL and Centurion Application Requirements:
All required photos have been submitted. Thank you and excellent job on the suggested adjustments mentioned in your EI application . Your armor contains all necessary elements to qualify you for Centurion. Andrew and I would like to congratulate and welcome you.
Other-Armor Fit/Assembly:
Nothing to add here. Nice work. Time to get out there and represent the empire as the newest Centurion.

Yep

Looks great--I'm jealous, because I'm just getting started. Did you use decals on the helmet or did you hand-paint? It looks great.
Thanks! I hand painted at first but wasn't happy with my lines so I opted for decals.

Hi Rilley
Your armor is looking good. EIB shouldn't be a problem.
One thing I saw is that the four ab buttons are a little bit overprinted. I would suggest to change that to make them look like the five central buttons, which are perfectly painted. Just for the overall look.
Cheers Christian
Roger that! A result of replacing the larger buttons and not the smaller. Will get right on that.

Appreciate the quick feedback! The drooping belt has been fixed.
I will paint the rivets today and post a pic.

Time for an update. I got approved with Cloud City Garrison as Kylo Ren in April and have been trooping non stop since. I had pre-ordered the Standard Line Kylo helmet from Anovos but received an email today notifying me that the Standard Line had been cancelled due to lack of interest. They offered a discounted upgrade to the Premier Line helmet but trooping in a fiberglass bucket doesn't sound very comfortable. I have instead decided to get a refund and use that to preorder a TK kit! Q1 2017(hopefully) can't come soon enough!

Hmmm yeah you definitely have a point with all armor being uncomfortable. I think a Boba or Mando made with comfort in mind could be very comfy mine just has goofs like bolts in the knees that rub, gaunts that rub on tendons in my wrists and a soft jetpack harness that cuts off some circulation after a while. Oh well I still want to do sandtrooper comfy or not! Maybe I'm just a sucker for uncomfortable suits ha. Thank's for the welcomes!
-
Thank's for the tip! Haha well yes I suppose I should say I'd like a suit that is less uncomfortable than my Boba which should not be hard to accomplish!
-
Greetings!
My name is Riley and I live in Portland , OR. I'm not affiliated with the 501st but have an ESB Boba Fett that's "finished" (my user name is girlattorney over at TDH) but is in need of some touching up and a few new parts after some wear and tear from a couple of con's. I unfortunately neglected to keep "comfort" in mind when building my Boba so I'd like to start a new project that's more comfortable to wear and so I intend to pursue a sand trooper. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to tk's so looks like I've got some research to do!
Cheers!
