Thank you all for your kind words. Just saw that the video was mention in the March newsletter, feeling very proud and humble at the moment
On a side note I just wanted to point out that Bara Heiða translates to "Just Heiða". Yes we have a crazy language in Iceland where we have a female name Bára and then the word Bara that means Just
Thanks again for all the support. The song is now ranking nr.5 on the Icelandic charts

The idea was "Need money for spaceship" sign, one of the small stormtrooper that stand next to the picture in the end and the song on bandcamp.
Maybe something more like a signed picture from Heiða and possible me
If you have not seen the video here is the link:

Good point.
The thing is, it is only one item. And living on a island with only 300.000 people, I highly expect it to sell over seas. Is turning out to be more trouble than profit at this point

Hi all.
Does anyone have any experience selling items online for charity? The group that mate the Stormtrooper music video came with the idea to auction a few things that was in the video for charity, and we where wondering what would the best place to sell it.
Is ebay the best option or are there any websites that are better suited for it. Would only be one packed with a few things in it. Don't expect it to go for a lot of money but anything helps when it comes to raising money for charity right

Would any of you have any good catch-phrase to have on posters? The only thing I can come up with is "Will you bleed for the cause?" but it sound a little dark

Hi there.
So being fairly new to the trooping and 501st in general I decided to ask for pointers.
The thing is that I had this idea for the Icelandic Outpost to rally people to donate blood on May 4th. Appealing to people love for star wars and putting it to good cause since the blood bank is always in a little bit of a struggle here.
Now I wanted to know if any of you have had any experiences of this kind of thing. The idea is to contact the blood bank with the idea in the next days and I would like to have some plan of action to show them. As of right now I was thinking some posters, promoting it over facebook and at our promotion night for the 501st later in Mars. Then on the May 4th we would be the first ones to donate, me in my TK.
So I would love to here from you guys and ladies. Anything to watch out for or focus more on?

When I was young I wrote my name with a "S" in front of it for some odd reason (STomas). When I was about 12, I decided the reason for it was be cos I was trying to write "Sir". Around that time I was also being called Tomasu of few friends.
So the first time I want on a LAN I put the two together and have been using it since then

Build looks great and I am using this and Ian's build to do a conversion of my own. In your picture that says "some more drilling", is that on the front part of the folding stock? How big are the holes? Also, did you have to use putty to close some of the gaps between the pieces? Any recommendation on what kind of putty could be used? Will E-6000 work as far as attaching the pieces to the blaster? Thanks for posting your pics. I am inspired now and need to get to work. Thanks.
Sorry for the late reply.
In the "more drilling". This is more around the center of the folding stock (if that make sens). On the Doopy kit there are this little holes that does not go through. I simply found a drill that matched the with of that hole and drilled all the way through.
Luckily I did not have to use much putty in the build. I have heard the so called "Green stuff" is the way to go, but sadly I have not found anyone that sells it in my area. I used filler (used to fill holes in walls and stuff) and that did work but I would not recommend it if you can avoid it.
I think E-6000 will do the trick, just let it cure for 24 hours and you should be fine. If it is good for the armor build, it is good for the blaster
Sorry again for the late reply, and good luck on your build
