After my armor build, I decided to pack a bunch of stuff into mine to make it a bit different. Very comfortable. What do you folks do with yours?

    Hi Chiassontimothy,

Can you tell me where you are bought the padding that you used in your helmet?

I liked it and I am looking for one similar... Thx

  2. Eddy.

Thank you. It's very exciting, rewarding, and fun to build it.

Rob painted the inside of both of my buckets. I'll post a picture of the inside in my next update so you can see it.

Did you get put on his wait list yet? I'd make sure I ask him about that. Otherwise, if you wait until then to contact him, you might have to wait until 2016. He stays busy, and in demand, as you've seen.

I'm using E6000 to glue the armor together. It creates a very strong bond, and can be undone if you have to re-do something for any reason, but it takes 24 hours to fully cure, so it's a bit slow going.

I know Tim, but not yet. I contacted Rob and I asked him when I can contact or remind for put me on wait list and he told me: " Any time after midnight January 2015"...hehehe

  3. Hey Tim,

    Congratulation for your armour!!

I am following up all your picture and assembling process because, I decided for RT too. But I need to wait for next year, 2015 to will be contact again to Rob. Sorry, but can you tell me if Rob could paint the inside of the helmet in black for you? And what method you have used for the join?

Enjoy all the process and keep the contact with all the assembling...

    Thx...Eddy

  4. We are about the same size. I have an old FX that was a better fiton me. AM would fit you good with some modification. But, I just got some RT-Mod replacement parts and they fit me way better and the look is accurate.

  5. Edgar, while I cannot comment on the differences (other than to say what has already been said - TM is Beautiful, but not for those clutch, intimidating anchor of the fire team, bigger type TKs) I can tell you that the RT is a beautiful kit, and comes very ready to assemble.

There are a lot of great build threads out there that you can look at too, in order to see what the kits look like, and if you look at the EIB and Centurion submissions, you can see how big the troopers are that are wearing them.

    Thx Drak CMF

  7. Your first step was spot on, an introduction of yourself and your desire to build a TK!!! I would highly recommend spending lots of time immersed in this sub forum:http://www.whitearmor.net/forum/forum/38-getting-started-read-this-first/

Also, please reach out directly to the Badlands Garrison (http://www.badlands.ca/forum/), as this will be an opportunity for you to connect with future garrison mates, find out about future events to meet, check out kits up close and even assist the troopers if they need it.

Good luck future trooper. Get comfortable as this will be your internet home for a very long time!

    :coffee2:

    I will check...thx
