[The various types of armor and where to find them UPDATED 2023]

I have not seen anything on Scootch's Custom Fab Shop but I have been recommended to it by a couple troopers and I wanted an overall opinion of the armor? It fits my budget nicely even with needing to still purchase blaster, holster, boots and gloves. Thank you for this incredible thread and I look forward to trooping hopefully by the end of the year!

Hello everyone my name is TK2088 (Joshua Sims)

I am from Portland, OR and I have been interested in doing Star Wars costumes for many years and now. I am out of the Marines and ready to get the party started. I figure a stormtrooper will be a good place to start but my heart is set on Sandtrooper after a couple deployments to Iraq. There are so many amazing resources that I am excited to check out, I made a purchase of a incomplete kit with no knowledge of what I was getting into so I will see what I can do with it and hopefully I can make it work! I will post pictures soon of everything I received.
