[Greetings from Naples Florida!]

Greetings from Naples Florida! My name is David, I'm 37 and like all of you love Star Wars. Originally from Indiana, spent many years in Colorado (where I still maintain a home) and now living in Naples with my Fiancée. I've been lurking the boards for way way to long, researching, dreaming and saving some money. Well around 15 weeks ago my NE set arrived. I've been since then acquiring the odds and ends I need to make my TK (THANK YOU to all the great people in this community who have helped me get this far so quickly!). We are moving this weekend to a larger place that will allow me the space to finally get this project under way.

I realize I'm a little behind in my formal introduction but I wanted to make sure I was prepared to dedicate my time to this passion in the same manner as all of you. Costs aside this is a scary undertaking for a man with a very shoddy set of crafting skills. With the knowledge I have been provided from the goldmine of info the boards have, I have gained the confidence I need to feel that with patience and effort I can one day be amongst the ranks of the 501st.

Thank You All for everything I have learned so far. I know that there is still a long road ahead of me but I feel I can do this!

Greetings from Naples Florida! I would like to thank everyone who contributes to this thread. I purchased a NE kit a few months ago and have been struggling to find a solid build thread that was more than "bash the uninformed who bought the recast set.". Thanks again!
