Hey Jen: When the CRL refers to "front" it means the wrist side of the forearm. There is considered to be a wrist side and an elbow side. The wrist side needs to be clear of ALL return edge even up into the ridge that the cover strip sits on.
Hi Steve - Got it! Thank you for the clarification...that makes sense. Looks like I have a little trimming to do. I really appreciate your help!
Congrats, Jenn!!! You look fabulous in your armor. Welcome to the EIB ranks…
Hey everyone...it's my brother! He's the artist behind my build. Thank you, Brian, for all your hard work. I wouldn't be here without you!
I just love the support and good wishes from you all! Thank you so much. I am honored to be a member of EIB and will wear my armor proudly!
(And by the way, we took a bunch of action shots, and that one was my favorite!)

Thank you for all for your comments, suggestions and encouragement! It is greatly appreciated. I will be making the appropriate adjustments and plan to submit for Centurion in the near future.
Steve - Thank you for your review of my armor and for approving my EIB status! Yea! I'd like to address some of your comments/questions: I did not use the "Mike" tips that came in my MTK kit....I used the mic tips from Trooperbay that, at the time, were supposedly more accurate. In person, they actually look off-white...the color is really vivid in the picture making them look yellow. I will look into fixing my tube strips (thanks for the reference shot). I will be making the alterations necessary to pass for Centurion, so I'll remove one of the ear bars on each side of my helmet and my rubber gloves and hand guards are on order. My drop boxes already have backs. I have no return edge on the inside of my forearms at the wrist, but I do have a slight return edge on the outside of my forearms at the wrist. The CRL reads, "No return edge on the inside of the front of the forearm is allowed", but is it more accurate to have ALL the return edge trimmed out of the wrist opening?
Again, thank you everyone!

Hi Nathan!
Great to see you on FISD! It was a pleasure meeting you and Ethan at Wizard World Sacramento. I'm so glad you had the opportunity to see us in action first-hand. You guys are going to love to troop! Best of luck with your builds...I think you are headed in the right direction with a Stormtrooper and Sandtrooper. I just submitted my request for Expert Infantryman Status, so check out my thread for a better look at some of the details of my MTK armor.
Welcome!
~Jennifer

Nice! Welcome to FISD!
Question will a chronicle of build be posted here? Could help encourage other women to join the Empire.
Or be a good guide for some slender TK builds too!
Unfortunately, we didn't record the build with pictures sufficient enough to chronicle this project. I'm 5'8" tall and weigh 123 pounds, so none of my MTK armor pieces needed to be shortened lengthwise (from head to toe), but almost everything needed to be trimmed in width to make it smaller around. Then a heat gun was used to bend the pieces to fit around my small frame. So it is definitely doable for slender women!

Hi Everyone,
Thank you so much for the kind words and warm welcome! It's great to be a part of such an elite organization. I'm looking forward to many troops ahead!
Hi Jennifer. Welcome to the FISD. FYI, your armor is good enough for EIB here if you want to go for that too
Thanks, Daniel! I am planning to apply for EIB soon.
Welcome to the FISD Jennifer! The armor looks great! Now the CCG has one more female trooper. If you don't already know her, get to know Marie, she is really nice and is the only other female trooper that I know of in the CCG.
Ah yes, Marie...the Dancin' TK! She is awesome to troop with. It is nice to see fellow lady troopers out there!

Hi Fellow Troopers!
My name is Jennifer Claussé and I’m excited that my new ANH Stormtrooper Stunt has just been approved! Over the past 1 ½ years I’ve been flying high as a TIE Fighter Pilot with over 40 missions, and now I’m looking forward to joining ground support as a Stormtrooper. I have to give a very special thanks to my brother, Brian (SL/TK-4902), who did a great job building my MTK kit to fit me! I’m really looking forward to trooping it. Here are a couple pics:
Glad to join the First Imperial Stormtrooper Detachment!
