[Nylon vs plate snaps]

It seemed like nylon snaps would be easier to make, just want to make sure I wasn't missing anything. Thank you.

I've found topics saying either snap making method is ok and know folks have done all nylon snaps and others who did plate. Is there any negative to doing all nylon or is plate snaps the way to go?

 

I know it's largely a preference thing but would love knowing if anyone is aware of cons or wish they'd done it differently.

Have you contacted your local garrison yet?  Not sure if it is CCG or Southern Cal.

I have thank you, it's So Cal. In fact they've been a great group of folks to meet and have helped me every single time I've needed it. Can't wait to finish and make it official!

I've been prowling the forums for awhile and am looking forward to becoming a more active member. I started my TK about 8 months ago, but lacked a lot of time to dedicate to completing it. Recently I picked up steam and I'm about 70ish% complete. I'm already looking towards what will be that next project (I know, finish the one first!), but I'm thinking Boba.
