Congrats, Man!  It looks great.  For the final build out did you use the jacked ears, or did you end up getting replacements?  I ask because my ear pieces are kind of jagged (Seriously?  These should come pre-cut and/or measured!  LOL) and I am not sure if I should start trying to get new ones or not.  Were you able to request your own TKID, or is it random?

Greetings;

I wanted to introduce myself.  I am James and am trying to lose some weight so I can build my ATA armor.  I have been working on the helmet, thanks to several of the tutorials on this site.  Once I get down to my target weight, I will build out my armor and join the 501st properly!  In the meantime, I look forward to interacting with all of you guys.

Dude.  I know the EXACT feeling.  I got my kit back in April and I am STILL looking at it in the box.  The idea of jacking it up after spending so much money on it is somewhat terrifying.  The only thing that makes it a little easier is looking at the actual film props.  Those things were jagged all over the place.  Pieces didn't fit right, rivets were super obvious, there were cracks and blemishes...  My idea going in to this was to make a kit that a real stormtrooper would wear.  THAT should be perfect.  But to make something an actor playing a stormtrooper would wear?  That should be relatively easy and a lot more forgiving.  Right...?

The picture doesn't do the actual tat justice.  I got it in May 2013, and in September I will be getting the background completed.  I am planning on getting a dark blue star field with Mustafar and Hoth visible.
