Thanks everyone for your responses. I think I will go ahead and give it a try.

I've recently been doing some research to redo my microphone and amp/speaker setup. I found a very cheap wireless transmitter/receiver on Ebay. I think I have found a few discussions on wireless here, however not too many have commented on this specific brande of wireless setup. Again, the brande is Bolun. If anyone has any feedback I would much appreciate it.

We have a new recruit in my garrison that is still in the early stages of trimming her costume. She has said she is heading towards an incenerator trooper. So that will add to your ranks as well.

Where'd you find the plastic for these?

Where are the requirements for the EIB? The links posted under the Expert Infantryman Badge (EIB) Program - Overview (Pinned) post are no longer available. Could someone please point me in the right direction.

Should have had that at CV! They had a bunch of Lego exhibits.

can those terry clips be found in a hardware store?

Think it would fit in an AP and still be comfortable for trooping?
And where did you get your padding? I've been googling all night and about decided to figure out a way to make them myself... lol

Tech151 said:So this might be an appropriate thread for this. I found these under armor off brand items and was wondering if anyone knows whether they appear to be 501st acceptable.

I have not personally gone to walmart to check them out but if anyone has any information they look like an inexpensive alternative.
This is what I have... nothing wrong at all with them, however I would like to find a one-piece to have in comparison... Sometimes it rides up a little on the back of the shirt... so I'm curious if a one-piece would wear a little better.

Works great... Kudo's on this mod!!

This is the best reference for your wiring...

Also this reference is a mod to use on your Radio Shack mini-amp so that you do not have to use a powered mic... I highly recommend this mod, I used it and works great...

I run a hot microphone. If you start to get feedback, it is difficult to get it to stop. A PTT setup should help if this were to happen randomly.
