What's up with trooperbay? His website is still up
MTK had surgery on his knee. So he won't be at the shop for a few weeks. And I live like 10min away.

Looks like I'm going to have to make my own pouches since Trooperbay is out of commission while MTK recovers from knee surgery. And SAn Diego Comic Con starts tomorrow....HELP!!!
Anyone have the dimension for both pouches?

Went ahead and sealed the outside of the calf section today....with past experience on my Fett, the loctite concrete epoxy has worked wonders...this stuff will withstand up to 3200 lbs of pull so I think we're covered ; )...

By sealing the outside of the calf section, how do you prevent it from cracking when getting your foot/calf through?

Yeah, that's what I was thinking as well. Using those unused straps. Guess we'll have to see when we receive the backpack. I'll be watching out for your tutorial...hehehe. I'm sure you'll post one!!!

Hola Tony,
I should be receiving Jim's TFA Backpack in the next couple weeks. Figured you might have the answer or an idea on how we should mount it to the vest. What do you think/suggest?

After numerous discussion we decided to glue on a small abs plate on both sides of the compad. Instead of just gluing on a sticker. We felt it would give a more realistic look if there is an actual dent were the black square is. This is how it looks after completion.

Clever idea!!!!

Fan bracket just fit good inside the helmet, so it's don't need to make any special mount. If you are talking about the fans itself - I used the silicon bolts, that use in computer fans mounts (see one of above images)
Do recall which Silicon Bolts you used? Picture of what the bolts itself looks like or a link maybe to where you purchased them?

Great, now everyone is going to want a lemon to shove in their buckets, just like all your awesome electronics! Do they make a bracket for that lemon?
Jim
LOL.....im sure someone will 3D print a bracket!!!

Keep in mind at this time I have yet to find a solution to powering the SHA with a 5v USB charger or similar. The chargers carry noise that effects the PCB operation causing a screeching. Looking to find something to filter it.
Think I found the solution to power the SHA, Tony.....

Looks like my Brown (rj45 female) was the positive voltage & Blue (rj45 female) was my negative....opposite of the schematic. It was driving me crazy but figured it out!!! All voltage outputs good.....will continue tomorrow on the Amp 2 & Hearing Aid regulator mods!! So proud of myself, 1st time putting together something like this and thanks to your tutorials I was able to make this happen!!!! Thank you!!!!

Do the fans oscillate with the voltage?
No activity what so ever on the fans. I too was surprised on using white/red for voltage on the USB. So I double checked & sure enough they seem to be the correct pair. Always thought also Red/Black. Going to continue trouble shooting. Thanks again Tony!!!

I tested continuity by sticking one probe into one of the slots above the usb (like your picture above) and the other probe to the end connector just before the fan. Both +/- sides tested good continuity and no resistance. Same type of fluctuating voltage readings at that end. (Spinning Head, lol)

Hi Tony,
I just finished following the schematics for the 5v/12v outputs on the Mini Antigravity.......I voltage tested the 5v output @ 3 points and I get fluctuating voltage for a second it gives me 5v then it drops down to approx 3, to apporx 1.5 then back up to approx 5v. One of the points tested is straight out of the usb port. Tested on fan and nothing happens.
My 12v output test doesnt fluctuate is stays pretty steady at around 12v-12.35v.....That seems to bee good. Haven't tested it with the the Amp 2 yet. Want to get the fans going first.
Any suggestions of what it could be going on with the 5v output? -
1/4" or did you mean 3/4" magnets since your HIPS squares are 1". The magnets I found at HD are .7". I'm assuming those are the ones u also got. Thanks for this tutorial.
