After trooping for more than two years with CA boots, I've finally upgraded to some TK boots.
The only issue is that now my calves have started riding up and exposing my shins. I'm considering adding some domes or velcro to both the bootstraps and the inside of the calves to try to resolve this.
Has anyone else experienced this problem before? Any tried/tested solutions or things to avoid?

A great read indeed. Well done everyone.

Yes, it's regular IRC. The network and channel you can see when you connect.
Nice one, thanks! It took me a while to figure out the channel is ##FISD not #FISD though, but I got there in the end Hopefully will see someone there for a chat sometime.

I've never seen anyone else in it Does it connect to regular IRC? Anyone know the channel, as it would be easier to join from my regular IRC client if so...

Makes sense, might as well do it properly the first time and upgrade to pvc pipe and clips from the outset.
Thanks very much indeed.

I've been making a start on my TD / O2 canister supplied with my kit and mine is a bit different from what I'm seeing around here.
It has some molded attachments (to make the rear of it flat?) which I'm not noticing on other peoples examples.
Is this still suitable, or shall I ditch it and start from scratch with a more traditional cylindrical pipe I'm seeing elsewhere?
Cheers
