I just wanted to say hello to everyone and introduce myself. My name is Brian and I am currently in Florida, though will be moving to Colorado in June. I have been wanting to join the 501st for years, but life has repeatedly gotten in my way. Now however, with support from my wife, I am finally beginning my journey. I do not have armor yet (in fact the reason I joined was to learn what I need to be sure I am not wasting money on things that would never get approved) but I have started saving already with hopes of being eligible to join within the next year if all goes well. I am active duty military and a family man, so those will always have precedence in my life, but I have been amazed by everything the 501st have done for charity and have wanted to be a part of something so amazing. (Of course, being a huge Star Wars fan doesn't hurt, right?) hope to learn a lot from everyone and I hope to one day be able to join those select few already serving. Thanks to everyone!
