It was great to troop with you again - I'm even in some of your photo's (look out for sticking-out chest and RH eye-bump). PaulWell, this was it, my first two day troop!
Entering the event with Lord Vader instantly set the scene.
We began by having fun with the queue of people waiting for the event to open, posing for photos and generally menacing people.
Then it was time to man the Death Star Wall. Guarding the top brass is hard work!
We had a bit of trouble with a Jedi.
But then we found a droid that I think someone had been looking for.
And then a VIP turned up!
Speaking of VIP’s, Brian Muir joined us. In the top picture: There I am, just standing casually, getting my photo taken with Brian Muir...
In the bottom picture: Me, turning to camera, screaming in my head "I'M HAVING MY PHOTO TAKEN WITH BRIAN MUIR!!"
After lunch I had a stint at spotting, which started out all friendly...
Then it turned ugly! Cheers guys!
More celebrity pics. Samantha Fox (an 80’s glamour model & singer) got up close with both of the bosses.
Tony Curran was so excited to see us that he even made his line of fans wait while he came for pics and a chat. (Sadly I haven’t got a photo of me arresting him as he arrived in the morning. I had him on his knees, blaster aimed, as the lady he was with took a pic for him. He really loves us!)
Preparing for the afternoon parades was fun. It’s the first one I’ve been involved in.
Then a group shot of the gang all together.
And a troop isn’t a troop without a special cake (or two)!
We had such an epic weekend, I made lots of new friends and had so many laughs.
Thanks folks, here's to the next one!
Si.
P.S. Thanks to all of you that contributed pics, they are greatly appreciated.
P.P.S. Finally got the pics to link properly. I'll get the hang of this one day!

After trooping with the UKG for nearly 2 years - I want to make so many improvements to my TK armour that I thought it best to join the site I hear all the other TK's talking about as a source of information and tips.
I'm not a BIG StarWars fan - I just loved the 1st three films from when I was 7 and from collecting the comics.
I can't tell you anything about the expended universe or what lots of the characters are called - I just know that I always loved the Stormtrooper costume - and even remember when I was little trying to change a toy motorcycle cops helmet into a TK lid using toilet rolls for the tubing and paper mache for the shape - big failure - but the bug was still there over 30 years later - what other films can do that!
