  1. I have no idea what "spoofing, shilling or sock pupetting" is but I can tell you that I have had first hand knowledge of the time and effort that Teresa has put into designing her gaskets and everything else she sews! I have seen the hours that she has spent creating and then improving her designs. I have seen her fuss over the smallest detail to get them right. I have first hand knowledge of the money she has spent in getting samples of fabrics to make sure that she has the best possible for her designs. To see that there is someone here that is trying to shine an unfavorable light on Teresa makes me very angry.

And then to see that a comment is made even after a determination was made makes me even angreir! Shame Shame Shame!

  2. I haven't found that problem here in Alberta. We did a big event in April that started with a parade and although there were the other characters of course it was mostly a field of white and dirty white. It was a beautiful site and another wonderful part for me was that a rather large percent of the armored troopers there were female...awesome!

    Thanks

  3. Hello,

I too am on my first ANH Stunt build. I started with the shins and used an exacto knife and the dremel. I was not really happy with how they were turning out.

I just happened to sumble upon a picture of someone using a bench sander to "trim" their armor and I thought that was brilliant! I have a bench sander so I gave it a try...it worked wonderfully. I had a fine belt on it and I would trim with metal sheers close and do the finish "trimming" with my bench sander. I am really happy with the finish, it not only trims but finishes the edge as well. It also took way less time and gave me a very straight edge on those places that require it.

So if you have access to a bench sander I suggest you give it a try.

I have to say though that there is so much more work to this than I expected but it really is fun to know that I can actually do something like this myself.

I think this could turn out to be addictive and building armor is like eating chips....you can't stop at one!

    Keep it white ;)

    Denise
