Welcome to the Fight! I'm stationed at Aviano and there's another TK here on base. He's still in the process of applying for membership but has trooped a couple of events with me.

E-5 Staff Sergeant, tested for E-6 though so I got my fingers crossed.
Been in almost 8 yrs and it is a love hate relationship but I think I'm going for the full twenty.
So be proud about your service to your respective country, even if you're French!

Old then New.... thats the only way you can do it really. If you start with the prequels I don't think you would want to finish the series.
The only good Prequel was Episode III in my opion.

Thanks... people like you make me feel so humble. Those of us in the service really do appreciate when people say thank you. For me though just keep those that are down range in your thoughts & prayers.
Oh and I'm still doing research on armor and helmets... I will def let everyone know when I get mine.

So after looking around a bit.
I have decided to track down an FX kit and use the bigger helmet.
I wear glasses so I think this will be best for me. Dont worry though I plan to upgrade the FX kit to make it a little better.
I just think being 6ft and 210 I need a bigger kit.
So if you have any words of warning on whom to stay away from or other advice. Please feel free to PM me or post in here.
Once again I just want to say I really have found this site helpful!!!

Hello everyone!
Well a little about me.
I'm brand new to the whole trooping and 501st idea, but seriously impressed by it all.
I was honestly just snooping around the web after watching episode V looking for a
Stormtrooper Halloween costume. All I kept finding was junk. Nothing like the movies and definitely nothing inspiring enough to capture my imagination.
Then I found the 501st, started reading and was like WOW! This is really a great idea and an awesome way to have fun while helping people. So here I am...
So far I have joined the Virginia group known as Garrison Tyranus who all seem to be very open and freindly.
They pointed me to this forum so that I can get my TK armor and learn all that I need to so that I can find and assemble one correctly.
After that I plan on applying for 501st membership so I can start trooping as well as wear my TK any chance I get.

It was a great movie... I went in thinking it was going to suck and was pleasantly surprised.
and the after the credits part was awesome!
BTW- Iron Man and that someone special after the credits will appear in the HULK!
Also Captain America is slated to have a film come out!
