I got my mtk about three weeks ago. Good armor. The kit came with knee plates for a td or tk not to mention a bag of goodies to include mike tips and decals. Over all a good buy for the price.

Hey PanzerKraken I know you are talking about me. LOL. I followed Scootch's advice and used some spare ABS on a new pair I bought. It works wonders now, and it looks like it might take a good beating.

I'd like to chime in on this conversation...I too have skinny forearms. Instead of adding foam to the actual armor, I use sweat wrist bands. I bought a pair of at "them Sports Authority" and the work very well!!. They also help in preventing armor bites. The sweat wrist bands need to be worn under the black compression shirt of course.
I hope this helps out.

Hi. Do you have any pictures of this set up? I am curious. Perhaps, I can build one too.
Thanks,

Gootch138;
Go with Authentic Props armor. I just finished mine not too long ago and actually go accepted into the Legion this past Monday! You wont go wrong with AP. Trust me you will have fun building your own armor.
Good luck to you. Surf this forum for help and pointers. I did, and it helped me a lot!!!

Welcome aboard Joe! Congrats on your approval! Will there be EiB application coming soon ?
For sure EIB in the near future. I need to get the backing for my drop boxes and replace some pop rivets with spilt ones.
More to come though.

Greetings Trooperland!!

Hope to troop with the Everglades Squad soon!!

Greetings Trooperland!!
Please review my TK pictures. I updated one more picture with the correct size of AB buttons to adhere to the CRL of 7/16 in diameter. Originally I used a 10/16 diameter snap button, but was informed about the correct size.
Let me know what you all thing about it.
PS...how in the world do I upload a picture directly to this site???? It seems that whenever I do, it tells me that the pictures are always too large to upload!!!

The insides of my elbows look like a junkies wet dream! I guess I need to refit my padding to the affectd of areas.

I actually have two snaps on the chest piece that go inline with the nipples and connect to the cod piece. But I noticed they unsnapped during the shoot. You can see on the outdoor shot that is aligned. Do you anything else wrong?

Greetings Trooperland!

Is there an application, or do I just upload the pictures to the GML?

Greetings Trooperland!
As my topic title reads, I am officially done building my armor. Now that I am done, how do I join the ranks?
I already took my pictures (seven to be exact). Who do I submit them to and where?
I need some guidance over here!
Thanks.
Joe.
PS...I have attached a picture of my mannequin wearing it. Yes, I know the sniper plate and shin is placed on the wrong side.

Greetings All;
I have been surfing the net and FB and came across company that produces armor. "CTM Props" is the name. Has anyone heard good or bad things about it?
Your thoughts?

I am trying to get a feel for my new helmet and padding.

AP makes all his holsters in the ESB style.
to change them out simply cut 3/4" tan leather straps and remove the cap rivets.
I replace them with 1/4" chicago screws at the top.
save some of the loop material for the black square washers you'll need to cover the tan straps.
I have all the parts needed, want them?
Hi Vern.
I will take a set of the tan leather and parts if you have an extra set. If so, please send along with the TD clips.
Thanks
-
Vern..PM sent.

Vern...I got all the parts. All I need is a good set of clips. I will pm u my address.
