  1. I was having a hard time finding the Hasbro blaster at a good price online I found it on sale today at the local target for $17.99 and got two to mod up., it's also available on their website for $20 plus shipping

The website has it listed as a clone wars stromtrooper blaster. So I don't know if this website listing is for their stock of both the clone trooeprs and the storm trooper blasters. They had both in the store on the shelf in the same section mixed together.

  2. TK-4607 (Quoc),

On the for sale sign, how is the color match with the armor? Does any of the lettering show through? Where can I get small sheets of plain pieces of abs? Would any of the local big box retailers carry these? Thanks.

What I did was got a "For Sale" sign at Walmart for 2 bucks and the measured how much I needed, then I put two pieces of velcro on the shim piece and then two pieces of velcro on to my armor, and made my shim piece complete.

For a stronger hold, I would put some E6000 glue on the velcro to hold it together onto the armor

Here is a good tutorial that I followed -http://www.tonybarne....com/shims.html

  3. By this time next year I hope to have a TK and working towards being a TD. I'm glad we have multiple vendors out there to equip the empire. We should never get too reliant on one or two vendors, or too few vendors. The more vendors we have out there the more likely we are to have many new troopers for years to come.

As with the military and law enforcement, uniforms and equipment vary from vendor to vendor. Sometimes minor, and sometimes not-so-minor. Some differences make for higher quality products. At any rate, diversity in products is unavoidable. Again, for the good of the Legion, I'm glad their are choices available, and I hope there will be many more choices for the future of the legion.

So I hope the artists /Vendors and their supporters will quit ripping on one another and be more supportive of each other. Always take the high road in your debates over the armor you are championing. Attitudes can either positively or negatively affect the perception and desire for your product of choice. You may find you are having a reverse of the desired results. I know my opinion has been impacted by the level of expression in this debate.
