Looking good Andrea. Very jealous here. One you have a basement to work in and two you have armour to work on.

It is Ingrid, I've met some people in my area and we are already exchanging ideas about building our armour. And all the information that I've found here, it's frigging awesome.

Like the other members on here, I also tried to get in and was made aware of their rule, I replied back to Roy telling him about getting armour and was looking for a place for information. I was a little taken back by the original reply and I wasn't feeling the "love". I got a nice reply back from him late last night with a mention of how they have armour parties and he also directed me here. I'm in contact with Andrea11 and bigironvault (plus a few more) through the social group The Tantive IV Cannon Fodder Squad and it's nice to know there are other in the same situation. I'd have to say that overall this was a positive experience. I've already met new people and I'm looking forward to sitting with them in July to see how we are all making out. Just wish I could meet up with some of them this weekend at FunExpo

I was looking at a "ready to wear" shadow trooper suit from Jedi-Robe and I was told not to buy from them but nobody could tell me why, finally I gave in and started looking elsewhere. This puts in perspective, glad I didn't go with them. Good visual reference. Thank you

Hello all,

 

I'm also a new member from Ontario. I'm at the Base in Borden. I've loved the Stormtroopers since I first saw ANH way back in 1977. Imagine my happy surprise when I ended up in the Canadian Forces in 1980 and my first personal weapon was the submachine gun that the E-11 Blaster was based on. After many years of dreaming of wearing the white armour, and finally finding a wife that is as geeky as I am, I'm hoping to get in one soon.

I have found out so much in the last day and some change of reading different posts on here. And like some of my fellow Canucks here, I was also told about the Canadian Forum being for 501st members only too. I found it kind of puzzling since I wanted to find some information on the group and help on getting started. But, from what I'm reading here, this is looking like a great spot to hangout.
