  1. Nathan, you disgust me.

That Kitten is clearly a recast!! :P

I think Nathan needs to contact the original caster of this kitten and give them money for the right to recast the kitten in question that the original recaster doesn't hold the rights to. Of course, we need to determine if it was originally a Kitten Master, Kitten Expert, Kitten Expert 2, AK, or KAT Kitten. So he can make an Affordable Kitten Alternative (AKA).

  2. And as for Vincent, well, sonner or later this was going to happen, with or without Vincent's mail. If they went for those A-team performers it was just a matter of time before someone noticed the Dutch Garrison carrying replicas.

Q.E.D. Shoot the messenger all you want. But attacking the guy isn't going to make the situation any better and as Damian stated, it was probably only a matter of time before it became an issue. If you recall a while back, one of our Australian members had their blaster confiscated.

Luckily here in the U.S. we're extremely lucky to have common sense replica laws and police officers that know how to use that common sense to say "Hey, it's a costuming club. Leave them alone." Here in Jacksonville, the police usually take the time to admire the work we put into our blasters. We have officers in our garrison, and everything's cool.

  3. I usually end up leaving my sunglasses on when I troop here in sunny Florida. I had absolutely no problem fitting my glasses in an FX. I could not fit my big head in an RT at all. the AP, CAP, and ATA helmets all were comfortable and I can leave my glasses on.

Weather or not your glasses will be "squished" is all in how you do your foam. I do mine very basic. A 1/2 inch sheet in the dome, a forhead block (about 1.5 x 1.5 x 3 inches) to press the helmet out from my forhead, and 2 2 x 2 x 1 blocks on the sides for lateral stability. It never squeezes and stays put.

  4. I was thinking about something like this.. but my idea kinda involves ducting to pull air from outside beneath the edge of the helmet. Think two little ducts on the sides of your unit that conform to the helmet that run down to the edge trim between the neck seal and bucket rim.

Not to give my idea away, but it'll probably never get made by me.

  5. Yup! Missingmyplane's advice is comfortable and stylish. I've got it on my armor. 2 x 2" by 5ish inch strips of heavy duty elastic with a ton of plastic weld hold it together. Adds a bit of length and a whole lot of flexibility. Ahh yes.. and the potty issue.

  6. Welcome to the forum. Is the club "Shadez" still running in Jax? $9 for a redbull and vodka is highway robbery but it was a kickin' club though.

Oh god no! Yeah the place was fun. I was more of a Club 5 and Paradome/618 kid back in the day. Shades was always too rednecky for me.

And yes, clean TK. Currently FX armor/bucket but I'll be swapping buckets soon (I hope, I hope...)
