Hello Imperials!
I am finally committing myself to my lifelong dream of becoming a shiny, white member of the greatest Imperial army. I'm hoping to begin construction on my own TK set of armor in the near future. I have been drooling and fawning over a set of Stormtrooper armor since around 1997, and have come to the boards numerous times to learn and dream. Well, my life has finally reached a point where I can garnish my dreams into a reality!
I have reached out to my local garrison (and squad) here in Central TX and am impatiently awaiting their response. I figured while I wait, I jump onto the main forum here and begin acquiring a true list of "to do's" and materials. If anyone has a good jumping point, words of advice, paths or experiences I would love to hear them. I've been reading the stickies as much as possible.
One thing I wanted to mention is I think I've settled my decision on the ANH Hero set. Is that a good starting point for an aspiring trooper? I was also looking into the ESB set, but I think I like the helmet of the hero more (maybe it's my imagination).
If nothing else, I'm excited to be a part of this community and as I continue to fall down this rabbit hole, I hope to become more communicative in the near future. I greatly look forward to the journey!

Mine was derived from an inside joke amongst some of my online gaming buddies. I have since been slowly fading out my older online handle with this one.
The old handle was "Rraahk" in which I created by punching random keys on the keyboard (no line) and modifying the result to sound feline. I was naming a cat-person in Everquest at the time. I decided to retire it because it was too hard to pronounce (like "Rock") and spell (double r, double a) for most people.
