I'm looking to 'mod' my FX kit to have some batle damage. Nothing real major. Maybe some scorch marks, blaster hits and such. If anyone has any ideas or 'how-to's' they would like to share, let me know. Thanks !

Well, I finally finished it ! Only took about a month and a half. It still needs a little 'tweeking' , but I dont think it turned out too bad for my first try..

I have got my MR CE helmet, which is pretty nice BTW ! I want to get rid of my FX helmet that came with my armor. I started to put it together, but lost patients. I have drilled out the teeth & painted the mouth gray. I'll include the hard hat liner, ABS cement, stickers, everything that came with the kit for the helmet. Interested ? Send me a PM.

Thanks for the info everyone. Trimming was what I did, the whole time in a cold sweat...LOL. I took off about an inch and they seem to look and fit better....I'm getting better with that Dremel

Well, I got my armor and have started putting it together, not as scary as I though it would be. I'm following the advice on the forum and doing the armor, before helmet. One question in putting together the thighs. How tight/loose are the thighs supposed to be? When the thighs are together and I put it on, unless I secure it, it would drop down to my foot. How much room should I leave between the armor shell & my leg ? Should it stay up without and velcro or support ?

Update : I have ordered a Blaster from eToy's. I should have that tomorrow & my armor is scheduled to be delivered on the 17th. I am currently looking on eBay for a 'mod' kit for the blaster. If anyone knows who may any of these, please shoot me a 'PM'

Well, I did it. Last night I ordered my full set of FX Armor. If all goes well, I should have the kit in a few weeks ! ! !

Just wanted to stop by and say hi ! I've been wanting a set of armor for years and I'm finally in the process of ordering a set of FX armor, yeehaw ! ! ! Though, I'm a little nervous about 'building' it...
This week I purchased a Kenner blaster that I'll be 'moding'.
Hopefully, I will eventually seeking membership in the 501st, I'm gonna have the armor, might as well do something with it, right ?
The info on this forum is fantastic.I'll post when I get my armor & start the build process.
