network engineer for a Department store Chain.
Most days I wear whatever I woke up in.
While this may sound nice... It really means that after working most of the night I am waking up in time to join a few dozen conference calls from home then starting preparations for that nights work.
that being said, when I do go into the office I sometimes avoid the business casual dress code in hopes someone will stop and reprimand me so i can explode in a frenzy of cursing and overworked frustration venting. Alas, everyone avoids eye contact with me and I go about my day unmolested in jeans and a tee.
sigh

i got devcon epoxy. it says super strength 1250 psi for concrete, glass, metal. plastic, and rubber. 60 seconds working time 5 min handling time. for my forearm peices i lightly sanded each side but they came apart so i fixed the problem areas and it seems to be a little better now but it still comes up in some spots a little. but my biceps are like totally coming apart. i didnt sand them hoping to avoid any bad parts like on the arm but it didnt work. i sanded put glue on one side(which i heard you were supposed to do, used these black clams with orange tips on every part. it says 16 piece spring clamp set and it comes in a clear bag. i know ive said allot but any help would be greatly appreciated.
devcon plastic welder is what you want.. it has a 3500 psi and dries to a cream color.
I bought the 1250 psi stuff by accident (dries clear) and had the same problem

I'm going the last week of Star Wars weekend, but although I think I will have my armor done by then I'm a little scared to fly it down.
has anyone transported armor lately? I envision me taking off and looking down at a baggage checker driving his little baggage cart off while wearing a full set of my armor
Whats an off duty Stormtrooper wear as far as Imp uni? color?
maybe I will look into getting a uniform made by then to wear.

Yes, I plan on attending all-con this weekend but I have a work project that I have to get done before Monday and am booked solid at work till Friday, so I will be dropping in for at least one day. I will try and attend during a 501 event to meet as many people as I can
According to Fed Ex I will have my armor in on time... but if I am lucky I will have time to unpack it and drool over before this weekend. Imperial Olympics sound fun, look forward to that next year.
I do plan on getting my son his own set of garments as well Although I may keep those hidden and pretend he has to use my old tights after (hopefully) quite a few of sweaty events.

Ty for the welcome
I will post some pictures of my armor as I get and as I build it, and more importantly, upgrade parts for screen accuracy. I am starting with the FX and plan to give it to my son when he turns 18 (less then 2 years) as I upgrade to a more screen accurate build.
We are having a blast reading the forums and planning out how to tackle some armor opportunities as they arise.
Again, thanks for the welcome

Look forward to joining Star garrison once I am in the 501 and an official Trooper.

I wear a wide shoe as well and was happy with my CA Boot purchase.
Have not purchased neckseal or the resin kit yet either.
