I got mine in the mail today.
Thanks, Tony!

Thank you for the suggestions.
I wound up hot gluing some foam into the plate and halfway down the inside front of the shin armor.
Fixed the problem.

I am approximately 80% finished with the assembly. I don't consider it 100% unless is deployable.
I did a test wear for mobility. I know I need to trim the biceps (lots of pinching with the forearms). Other than that, the upper torso is looking good, feeling good.
My main issue is with the left calf. The plate it flat against my knee cap. Without the thigh on, I can move. Add the thigh piece and I look like a stormtrooper that needs a bathroom.
The calves themselves fit perfectly. I didn't need to shim. I am able to close them both and the armor is like a second skin (love that!).
My question:
If you've had this problem (the plate to knee issue), how to you solve it?
I'm thinking I'll just take a 1/4" off the bottom, test fit, repeat until it feels good or the plate is down at my ankle
Any and all advice is appreciated.
Thanks!

I was issued a poncho, but I'll only use it if it's really heavy rain and it's warm outside.
I usually just wear my gortex.

Paid in full.

This is a question and not a critique.
What are the two items on the left and right hips? Speakers?

Please add me to the list.

realy it says full strength an hour and i put it o for 5 minutes but i didnt think i put to much force on it i gues i try to reglue it and let it sit.
TWENTY FOUR HOURS!
If you rush it, your armor will look like an impolite person.
24. 2-4. Like Jack Bauer, but in ABS.

You need to let it set for 24 hours.
Handling time isn't wearing time.

I'm working on mine now.

Thank you, gentlemen.

I've got the amp and speakers covered.
Now I just need a good headset microphone.
Can someone give me some recommendations?
Thanks!

Wow thats a nice rig Scott! Its far better than mine so i wont even bother posting my setup lol.
Indeed.
Well done, Scott.
I think I'm going to do the same thing for my drop boxes.

You could try this for your glasses.

I don't know how it would work with coated lenses.

I'm going to assume you're talking about the pocket mod. Ill post a tutorial around 3 this afternoon. And ill be sure to post a link to it in this thread ^.^ Its a relatively simple process and is very inexpensive (as is everything else i have to do to my armor)
Actually, I'm curious to see the drop box mod.
-
As said before modding your drop boxes for your phone is great, ive do that myself. Im also working on building a pocket into the area of the upper backplate that is hollow on the inside (I dont konw how to explain it any better than that.)
Oooh! Do you have pics of the mod?
