Awesome! It's been a long frustrating ordeal to reach this goal but well worth it. I am proud to say I am the first Centurion in the Ohio Garrison! I would like to say thanks to all those that gave me such helpful advice on my journey to making this possible.

Finally took new photos today.
Cleaned up the helmet:
Resized my forearms and biceps...also my holster so it doesn't hang past my knee.
-
I did resize my forearms and biceps and i feel they look so much better than they did. I will be taking new photos on my next day off. I will smooth out the black lines before I take the photos as well. Thanks everyone for your input on what I needed to fix up on my armor....it's been frustrating at times but it is making my armor look even better.
-
I am working on resizing my my forearms and biceps. I just haven't figured out exactly how i am going to trim the forearms down yet. I don't want to take to much of the ridge off and ruin the look of the forearm. I will end up trimming my holster when i finish fixing my forearms.

Took me a bit longer then i expected to get photos taken...plus I had to order inner drop boxes because of the new requirements.
Here are the new full body shots. hopefully they are better than the first ones posted if not i will take new ones.
Inner drop boxes and split rivets
Repainted the tube stripes so they weren't sitting so low and tried to clean up the rest of the paint job on my helmet.
-
Just an update. I ran into issues fixing the paint job on my helmet....had some bleeding from the stencil on my tube stripes. I am cleaning that up today. I will get new full body shots when i do a troop on tuesday and will post all the updated pictures that night.
-
I will post better photos as soon as I can. I will also fix the paint job on my helmet. It will take me a few days to repaint it because of my work schedule.

Andrew we should be all set to do an all day build on Tuesday! I think Cadet will be joining us too. The 3 of us should be able to knock this out without a problem. I will know for sure if this is a go as soon as I talk to my better half about it tonight.

Took some time off from working on this issue..plus i have been busy with work also. I think i fixed the problem here are some pics I took. Sorry they aren't the greatest but i had to use a mirror because i didn't have anyone here to take them for me. Thanks for all the advice. let me know what you guys think.

I ended making a new strap this morning. The shoulder bells sit fine now i just need to adjust the length from bell to the bicep I hope. I am just freaking out because i am getting frustrated. I think i need to take a break from it and try again later today or tomorrow. i will also try moving the snap forward a little also.

One of the guys in my Garrison had the same troubles with his Shoulder bells pulling down.
I took and made him a black elastic strap that runs across the upper part of you back/ shoulders from one shoulder bell to the other.
The black elastic strap was long enough to keep them from drooping/ pulling down and you still have them connected to the strapping that hold your chest and back plate together, but does not put it out from under the bridges.
it corrected this problem.
Can you post a pic of of what you did so i have a general idea of how to connect it all.
-
I tried that...and all it did was pull the webbing out from under my shoulder strap. then i tried making the strap from my bell to my bicep longer....it some what fixed the shoulder bell issue. But now my biceps sit funny too. i just don't know what to do. it's like i fix one thing and then it messes up another.
-
i am having a major problem getting my shoulder bells to sit right and am getting really frustrated with it. Here is a photo from my last troop which made me want to redo my straps for my shoulder bells. Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

I got mine from my skateboarding days. People started calling me "grind king" because I used to pull of some long grinds and i could grind on any surface that i could possibly grind on. Plus it was the brand of skateboard trucks i would always buy. The name stuck and i decided to use as my screen name.
-
Cool i will try that! Now i just need to find some S-trim lol.
-
Does anyone know where i can pick up something that looks close to s-trim? I have a troop tomorrow and i ripped my s-trim. i just need something that will work until i get new s-trim.
Thanks,
Bill
