Well as the UKG ALWAYS keep there lids on, surly its what you see that counts on the clearance right?
You couldn't tell with a lid on just like you couldn't tell he doesn't have split rivets.
Just saying.

Indeed and Gary has a very good and valid point which I share. As I said it is just an opinion and I am within my rights to disagree even if it changes nothing.
The fact still stands that you need to see the inside because you can't confirm if they are split rivets from the outside.
Anyway, as dissapointed as I may be, I don't want to divert this thread any further so will leave this one here.

Not too sure what has happened to your left bicep but it looks like your elastic snap has come undone. Should look the same as the right. Maybe swing the thigh suspenders more out to the side on the belt so your thighs don't clash with your cod so much. Apart from that looks pretty good.
just don't see the point of the split rivet thing.
If you can't tell if they are split rivets from the outside then that should be good enough IMO. If your going to take it this far then you might as well say the strapping should be as the original too.
Centurion needed updating but this is just a step too far me thinks.

shin sits on the boot more or less, velcro on the front of boot vertical to keep shin from twisting.
Never needed this on my shins and they have never twisted but then I see other who do have the twisting shin problem.
I would leave it off and if you find you shins twist then add it. No point doing it if it's not needed.

IMO you would be better off going for the full doopy's kit instead of trying to get a hasbro and converting.

What a great lid. I got to see these at RS the other weekend and also look and try on the original.
Have to say I am seriously tempted to buy one.
Also on a side note, it's nice to see the 3 helmets alongside.

Easy pass. I just have one question. Have you modded the DLT-19 to include the box over the ammo feed and added the half-globe above the handle?

I haven't modded the DLT yet but it is in hand as I intend to go all out on that with the wire, feed box, half glove and weathering. Not sure if I will go for bakelite or wood on the handle yet.
I only included it for the action shots otherwise I would have included shots with just the DLT.
