Nice! Thanks for putting it together.
RIP Ralph & Gary

Welcome to you both! The couple that troops together, stays together.

Looks good Steve. A neckseal will "seal" it all together.

Looks like a lot of fun!

I never sit down! I don't want to be force choked if the boss stops by.

I bought my UA tops and bottoms from Underarmour.com.

Awesome work! I love seeing our men and women in imperial uniform assisting those who soldier for a living. Thanks for the pictures.

Putting together a kit is always a challenge. You're basically tailor fitting plastic to your body--no easy task. That said, you will likely want to narrow your thigh pieces' openings at the knees. Also, I recommend getting an AP helmet to go with your FX armor. I have AM armor (FX legacy) and my AP bucket is perfect. Good luck!

What TK 4702 said, but I also use an all purpose cleaner on the inside of armor parts that are prone to collect sweat. I also always wash my under suit. Once you have stood next to a trooper who doesn't, you'll understand why.

Welcome Paul!

The Doopydoos kit is amazingly easy to adhere to the Hasbro blaster. And even though the Hasbro retrofit is shorter than the original Sterling, it still looks great.

I got my kit in late May and I am still working on it at a "hobbyist's" pace. I actually spend more time waiting on parts in the mail than working on the kit.

Welcome Wally!

Welcome Jimmy! I'm sure your kids will be thrilled to see dad decked in white armor. The charitable spirit of the 501st is one of the main reason why I am spending hours working on my armor kit--to say nothing of the hundreds of dollars. I look forward to spreading a little imperial TLC when I finally get finished.

Awesome! I'm one of the new guys here, but I must have read 10,000 posts while putting together my kit. This community extremely helpful and friendly, and I think embodies the best of Star Wars fandom. Here's to another 200k!

Glad to see another Kentuckian joining the Empire!

Hello Wisconsin!

Looking good!

Looks nice! I didn't take the time to drill the additional holes and scope rail but my conversion is good for trooping at kid events. I have a full Doopydoo resin kit for the serious troop'ns.

I purchased the Hasbro kit and full resin kit from their website. I received the package about 2 weeks after purchase, no problems. They are quality casts, too. The Hasbro kit was especially easy to install--great for trooping at kid events because of the sound FX.

SWG Vet here as well. I used to craft Stormtrooper gear on my armorsmith and terrorize jedis on my bounty hunter sporting energy plated scout trooper gear. Good times...

I will be there with my armor. I hope to get approved ASAP.
